For the first time we have installed batteries supplied as replacement for old batteries into existing battery boxes.

Due to space constraints, the layout was custom – designed for the existing space; various components like water filling system and temperature probes were tailor made for the application.The battery boxes were provided by DMRC and we assembled the new battery into these boxes.

In order to ensure that the onboard charging system is working with full compatibility with the new batteries, we have installed the Battery Monitoring Systems ( BMS) for 3 months in the battery boxes. A detailed study of the readings thus obtained shall ensure that the batteries are maintained in healthy charged condition.

The battery is consisted of 84 cells of 200 AH (FNC 200 MR 2).

It is our endeavour to ensure that the replacement batteries supplied by us fulfil the duty cycle requirements without any modifications to the existing systems.
